QuantumShield Lab has been awarded a multi-year national research grant to investigate practical implementations of post-quantum cryptographic systems for large-scale public infrastructure. The project focuses on evaluating lattice-based encryption algorithms under real-world deployment conditions, including healthcare, banking, and government services.

The research team will collaborate with university partners and cybersecurity agencies to benchmark computational performance, migration complexity, and interoperability challenges associated with post-quantum transition strategies. Researchers aim to publish open datasets and implementation guidelines to support broader adoption efforts.

The grant also funds graduate research assistantships and the development of educational resources designed to help organizations prepare for the eventual deprecation of traditional asymmetric cryptography.
